• Sun Village is a friendly, very active, adult community where at least one member of a household must be 45 years of age.
• Sun Village is considered to be a highly desirable community. People love living here.

• Part of that desirability is due to low monthly maintenance fees and a mature capital fund and plan.
• The fees are a direct result of the commitment and efforts of home owners who volunteer to serve on our committees and our Board of Directors. We are self-managed.  Your willingness to serve on a committee can easily result in an attitude of team involvement, helpfulness, greater social interaction and an “Esprit de Corps”.  Sun Village is proud to be recognized throughout the Okanagan Valley as a positive trend setting adult community.

• We are a “Caring Community” but we are NOT an extended care community. Home owners must be independently capable of caring for themselves and maintaining their homes.

• Home Owners’ Maintenance Fees provide for many services including grass cutting and snow clearing.
• Should you wish to plant any flowers around your home you must be able to provide care for them. Weeding of flower and shrub beds is also a Home Owner responsibility. 

• Persons not capable of caring for themselves or their home must provide for suitable arrangements, and this may involve contracting for services.

• Volunteering is not confined to physical effort alone. Sun Village welcomes those who are willing to be involved with putting forth fresh ideas, making problem solving suggestions and suggesting options for the continuing betterment of our community.
